The conversation begins with a brief review of the market conditions and impact of the war – the team run through their analysis of transaction volumes before and after the start of the war on February 28th. There were approximately £1.9 Bn of investment transactions in Q1 in 48 deals – half by volume happened in March, after the war began on 28th February.

Nick is co-head of the West End Business team, based in Wigmore Street. He is an Equity partner of the firm and sits on the Management Board. In addition to focusing on West End commercial investment, he is also one of the partners responsible for running the firm’s international alliances with Millennium Group in Asia and Citi Private Bank, predominantly Middle East.
Chris is a Salaried Partner in the Allsop City Investment team and is responsible for disposals and acquisitions work within the team. Chris has advised many U.K. funds and institutions as well as private and overseas investors and is one of the main points of contact for Allsop’s JV alliance in Hong Kong, Millennium Group.
Ed is head of the Commercial Valuation team and the Partner responsible for all commercial valuation work undertaken by Allsop. Ed has advised most of the UK banks involved in lending to the commercial property sectors during his career.
