Your business rates are changing in April 2023
A draft of the 2023 Rateable Values was published on 17th November 2022, which is likely to affect your rates bill, for the next three years.
Broadly speaking your rateable value should reflect the rental value of your property on 1 April 2021. Your Business Rates are approximately 50% if your rateable value, so if you think that your rateable value may be calculated incorrectly then you can appeal.
How to appeal
The earlier you can seek advice, the better.
