Allsop appoints senior land & development specialist bolstering residential and living team

Allsop has appointed Hugh Bushell as Senior Associate to its Residential Transactional and Living Markets (RTLM) team. Formerly an Associate Director within Savills’ Development Land team, Hugh will focus on land and development advisory, reporting to Andrew Boyd, Partner and Head of the RTLM team.

In his previous role at Savills, Hugh’s main responsibilities included the disposal and acquisition of residential-led development sites across north and east London on behalf of private developers, institutional landowners, housebuilders, charities, and public sector bodies. He joined Savills’ graduate scheme in 2015 and qualified as a surveyor in 2017.

Hugh’s appointment reflects Allsop’s continuous growth in the residential and living markets as its residential divisional revenues see an increase of 54% since 2021 and will play a key role in further business expansion.

He will be based within the firm’s West End office, focusing primarily on the London and South East residential and living markets, and will assume his role on 14th October.

Hugh Bushell, Senior Associate at Allsop, said: "I’m thrilled to be joining Allsop’s residential and living team and look forward to leveraging my experience to further enhance the firm’s position as a market-leading development and investment consultancy.”

Andrew Boyd, Partner at Allsop, said: “We look forward to working with Hugh whose knowledge and expertise perfectly correspond to the current needs of the business. With our growth plans aligning with improving market conditions, we are delighted to have secured someone of Hugh’s caliber to enable us to continue to provide best-in-class service to clients and further enhance our offering.”
