Allsop signs up to the BPF Net Zero Pledge

We are pleased to announce that Allsop have met the BPF’s criteria to become a signatory to the BPF Net Zero Pledge.
Buildings are responsible for around 30% of all greenhouse gas emissions in the UK therefore as a sector we have a significant environmental impact. The BPF’s campaign called upon all their 400 members to commit to being net zero by 2050 at the very latest.
By taking the pledge Allsop have committed to three principal actions:
- Members commit to setting net zero carbon targets and plans;
- Members commit to sharing research, knowledge and insight on an open source basis; and
- Members commit to supporting each other and the wider industry, to accelerate the transition to net zero.
Scott Tyler, Senior Partner said: “Allsop are delighted to become a signatory of the BPF Net Zero Pledge. We recognise our responsibility to support the fight against climate change and are optimistic that by collaborating with our fellow BPF members we can make great progress in reducing our sector’s impact on the environment. Allsop believes that our collective drive and ambition will help us all reach the goal of net zero by 2050.”
We join the BPF in encouraging all their members to join us in becoming a signatory. Find out more and take the pledge here. https://bpf.org.uk/net-zero-pledge/
