Allsop releases 266-lot catalogue for May residential auction

Allsop has released the catalogue for its May residential auction, featuring 266 lots across the UK.

The catalogue features a mixture of residential and mixed-use investment and development opportunities, including a freehold double-fronted mixed-use building near Shoreditch, guided in excess of £3.25 million, and a substantial freehold end terrace building with a private annexe in Kensington, guided at over £4 million.

The release of the catalogue follows Allsop’s April residential auction, at which it raised over £28 million from 105 lots sold, achieving a success rate of 76%.

Richard Adamson, managing partner and auctioneer at Allsop, said: “Following the success of our April auction, which raised over £28 million, we are delighted to release our fifth residential catalogue of the year featuring a total of 266 lots. The catalogue includes some very high-quality investment and development opportunities which we anticipate will prove to be popular with buyers continuing to invest in the safe haven of residential property. We anticipate a busy marketing campaign over the coming couple of weeks as we gear up for another day of competitive sales.”

Auction highlights include:

  • Lot 28: Kensington, London – a substantial freehold end terrace house with a private annexe, extending to 3,858 sq. ft, which has been in the same ownership for over 40 years, guided at £4m+
  • Lot 30: Old Street, London – a freehold attractive double-fronted mixed-use building arranged to provide a ground floor shop unit and six self-contained flats, guided at £3.25m+
  • Lot 17: Stockport, Cheshire – a freehold block of new build flats internally arranged to provide 11 self-contained two-bedroom flats (partially finished), total GIA of 19,728 sq. ft, guided at £2.2m+
  • Lot 84: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire – freehold former farm buildings and land extending to approximately 3.8 acres with planning for the refurbishment and extension of the existing farmhouse, guided at £2m+

Allsop’s next residential auction will be held online on 22nd May via livestream, and the complete catalogue can be viewed here.
