Much of our work is focused on Central London offices, but increasingly we work outside London in the South East market on industrial and office space. We advise owners of property during the main stages of the lifecycle of a building:
Development / Redevelopment – limiting Business Rates by deleting hereditaments from the list and delaying their re-insertion assessment.
Leasing / Reletting – advise on key clauses drafted into a new lease like rent review clauses, break clauses and dilapidations provisions, working in conjunction with our agency team.
Lease events – negotiation of rent reviews, re-gears and lease renewals.
End of the lease – we negotiate Dilapidations, often in conjunction with Building Surveyors but taking early control of the negotiations so they do not get bogged down in arguments over cost of small items.
