EMILY’S ROLE
Emily is a Senior Associate in the Residential Valuation team in Central London. The team covers appointments across London and the south of England.
RELEVANT EXPERTISE / SPECIALISM
- Undertakes valuations for loan security, purchase, and viability.
- Undertakes specialist residential valuations including for capital gains tax, matrimonial, inheritance tax and for internal purposes.
- Expertise in valuing residential assets (ranging from prime Central London flats to country estates, investment buy-to-let portfolios and developments)
- Specialism in valuing reversionary and non-reversionary ground rent properties and portfolios.
- Expertise in carrying out lease extensions on behalf of Freeholders and Leaseholder.
EXPERIENCE
Emily Norman joined Humberts in 2007 where she had experience as a graduate surveyor in the residential and commercial valuation team. Emily qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2010.
In 2011 Emily joined the Gerald Eve residential team where she specialised in leasehold enfranchisement on behalf of landlords.
Emily joined Allsop LLP in the Residential Valuation team in August 2013.
RECENT PROJECTS / ASSIGNMENTS
- Valuation of substantial ground rent portfolio with 2,000+ units in London and the Southeast for loan security purposes.
- Valuation of a development site in north London with a GDV of over £10m.
- Valuation of £30m house for loan security purposes in Knightsbridge
- Valued a large Freehold block in central London with revisionary and non reversionary ground rent interests for internal purposes.
- Carried out a valuation and negotiations of a flat for lease extension purposes in Marylebone.
