Historical lots in Allsop’s July Commercial Auction Catalogue

Investor’s will stand the chance of getting a piece of the past when a very interesting and historical investment goes under the hammer at Allsop’s forthcoming commercial auction on 6th July at The Dorchester, London.

Set amidst the backdrop of leafy Reigate, Surrey, Lot 88 is a Grade II listed building formerly known as “The Barons”, which was built around 1690 by Richard Devon, a London merchant.*

Baron Maseres lived there until about 1823 his title presumably giving rise to the name of the house.*

It is rumoured that Sir Winston Churchill stayed at the property and one of the upstairs rooms was known as “The Churchill Room”.

The property is now let to JACK WILLS LTD for a term of 20 years at a current rent of £75,000 pa and is being marketed with a guide price of £1.1million+

The sale commences at 10am, with the afternoon session starting at 2pm with lot 87.
