MARK’S ROLE

Mark’s role within the Commercial Auction team is to manage and assist with all aspects of the auction process, with a particular emphasis on generating new business from his very wide cross section of clients.

His role as Commercial Managing Partner is to support and assist the wider Commercial Division, namely the Valuations, National Investments, West End and City Investment & Leasing, Business Rates & Lease Advisory, and Recoveries & Receivership teams.

RELEVANT EXPERTISE / SPECIALISM

Mark has acquired a broad and deep knowledge of the UK property market.  He specialises in regularly providing market appraisals of commercial and mixed use properties throughout the UK, advising clients on the acquisition and sales strategy of individual properties and portfolios, sale and leaseback advice for Corporate Clients and Owner Occupiers as well as general asset management advice. 

Whether it involves buying or selling, Mark is committed to helping clients (e.g. Institutions, Banks, Receivers, Property Companies, Agents, Developers, Corporate & Private Clients) achieve their objectives by providing a conscientious, impartial and personal service.

EXPERIENCE

Mark joined Allsop in September 1996 immediately after graduating at Greenwich University and was one of the first to join Allsop’s graduate rotation scheme.  After time spent in Residential Investments and Commercial Valuations, he joined the Commercial Auction team and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1999.  He was made a Salaried Partner in 2006 and an Equity Partner in May 2013.

In 2019 Mark was invited to become a member of the Allsop Management Board and in 2024 he was appointed Commercial Managing Partner.  He is also a member of the RICS Real Estate Auction Group.
