Allsop Letting & Management makes senior strategic hire

Ex-Native Residential Simon Wilkinson-Reilly to join the firm as Head of Residential Asset Management

Allsop Letting & Management (ALM), one of the UK's leading providers of professionally managed properties and a subsidiary of UK property consultancy Allsop, has appointed Simon Wilkinson-Reilly as its Head of Residential Asset Management.

Formerly Director of Asset Management at Native Residential, Simon will provide strategic oversight of ALM’s asset management team as the firm’s units under management reach 5,500 in 2024, with a projected pipeline of 12,000 units.

As part of his previous role at Native Residential, which Simon joined in 2019, he supported business development and oversaw the performance of circa 7,600 residential and mixed-use units. Prior to that, he spent three years with Liv Group as Senior Asset Manager in charge of a 1,500-unit-strong build-to-rent (BTR) portfolio and over five years at Touchstone CPS as Portfolio Manager. Simon, who started his career at Places for People, brings 15 years of property sector experience, of which 10 years have been dedicated to the management of BTR assets, a key area of focus for ALM.

ALM has a strong track record in managing BTR and single-family developments across the UK. Most recently, it was appointed by Round Hill Capital to manage its new Manchester BTR development Fairfax. Earlier this year, ALM took over the management of BPIM’s Domain development in Reading and was engaged by real estate investment company Kennedy Wilson as its UK operator.

Simon will be based in Allsop’s Leeds office, reporting to Matt Smith, ALM’s CEO.

Matt Smith, CEO of Allsop Letting & Management, said:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Simon into the team as ALM continues to go from strength to strength with a rapidly expanding portfolio. With his robust property sector expertise and a solid understanding of the BTR sector, he will be an invaluable addition to the team, enabling us to continue delivering outstanding results for our clients across single-family and BTR.”

Simon Wilkinson, Head of Residential Asset Management at Allsop Letting & Management, said:

“I am excited to join ALM and look forward to contributing to Allsop’s continued progress and success within the BTR and single-family sectors. I am delighted to be joining an exceptional team of skilled industry professionals who bring a wealth of experience and insight to every aspect of the business. Together, we will drive continued growth, enhance portfolio performance, and deliver long-term value for our clients in this dynamic market.”
