Alex is a Partner in the Commercial Auction Team with 20+ years of auction experience. He  was invited into the Partnership back in 2017 and sits on the Operations Board since 2019.

He  acts for a  wide variety of clients from property companies, institutions, private investors, charities and retailers. The scope of work for all these clients included providing marketing/appraisal advice, likely realisation price and advising on both suitability for the auction route. He also assists in the provision of marketing strategy on portfolio sales and manages all aspects of marketing between instruction and completion. He continues to significantly widened the Allsop client base. Formerly in the 08/09 downturn he played a pivotal role in advising Banks, Receivers  and Administrators on all auction sales.  

Alex also provides advice on Allsop’s Private Treaty dual method of sale, which offers Seller’s an auction backstop to ensure ‘Best Price’ is achieved, making the client feel in control of his investment.

Before joining Allsop in 2002, Alex qualified at Matthews & Goodman in the City of London gaining experience in City agency and Valuations.
