Property Manager - Brighton (Fulltime)

Allsop Letting and Management is currently recruiting for a Property Manager based in our Brighton office to work within our Property Services Team on a full-time permanent contract basis.

Key duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Liaise with clients and tenants, responding and dealing with enquiries within our agreed service level timelines
  • On a daily basis action diary items, resolving problems and issues
  • Negotiating rent reviews, tenancy renewals, starts and ends, inventory checks and deposit release with tenants and ensuring all paperwork is accurate and actions are timely
  • Instructing approved contractors, controlling costs and quality of work for identified proactive and reactive maintenance issues
  • Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met for rental properties
  • Managing insurance claims
  • Processing orders, checking invoices
  • Day to day administration and reporting, using our bespoke software and client databases where appropriate
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the Customer Services team through positive teamwork and assist in training where requested
  • You are expected to be flexible and the Company reserves the right to vary your duties from time to time. Residential Valuations Surveyor (Fulltime)

We are seeking a qualified surveyor to work within the Residential Valuations team in our Leeds office.

This is an exciting opening for a driven and likeable qualified surveyor in a growing team.

The role will involve valuing all types of residential properties, including investors’ portfolios, student accommodation and development sites in the North of England. These valuations will mainly be for loan security purposes, working predominantly for banks.

The Leeds office has an excellent and established contact base, but there will also be scope in this role to expand this network of clients further.

Senior Block Manager - Balham, London, SW17 (Fulltime)

Allsop Letting and Management is currently recruiting for a Senior Block Manager based in our Balham office to work on a full-time permanent contract basis.

This role is based at the site office in Balham, SW17, managing designated site staff but with some lone working supported by our team at the Brighton office and reporting to the Head of Block and Facilities Manager.

You will be managing a portfolio of approximately 700 properties in the block, including non-residential units, AST’s and leasehold.

Confidently liaising externally with clients, residents and contractors  and internally with specialist teams in Allsop Letting and Management, such as property, asset management, finance and IT.

You will be good at communicating, juggling priorities and working under pressure.

Previous Block Management experience is essential.

Commercial Auction Assistant (Fulltime)

The Commercial Auctions Department are seeking an office based assistant to support the team in a wide range of roles involved with the preparation, production and marketing of the commercial auction catalogue.

The candidate must be able to prioritise effectively, work to tight deadlines and operate within a fast paced, upbeat, successful and sociable team.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:

1.         Collating information for the appraisal and valuation of individual properties and portfolios

2.         Preparing draft sales particulars for checking before sending to clients.

3.         Answering and fielding telephone calls

4.         Assisting in sending marketing emails and helping to arrange property viewings

5.         Assist with new business initiatives and the preparation of client pitches

6.         Assist with general office administration when required

7.         Assisting the team at the auction venue on auction days

Ideally we are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of two years post A Level property related work experience with good literacy and numerical skills, a willingness to learn and a sense of humour.
