ABOUT THE JOB

The role of a Surveyor within our market leading Residential Valuation Team includes inspections, research and client contact. The emphasis of the role is on being part of a team with a proven track record and excellent reputation within the regions.

Like all team members they will be expected to have strong relationships with their peers across the firm and the wider industry and be willing to assist others within the team.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out inspections and surveys.
  • Prepare valuations for loan security on residential investment / development and owner occupier properties.
  • Utilising valuation packages (Argus / Rightmove plus etc) and Excel to produce valuations.
  • Confident to collate research into schedules reports and appraisals.
  • Support senior team members in building successful business relationships, with the aim of building a client base, with support, over time.
  • Attending meetings and client events.

MAIN CAPABILITIES

  • MRICS qualified.
  • Prior valuation experience.
  • Inspires client respect and confidence.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • An understanding of appraisals / cashflows and report writing.
  • Demonstrates good attention to detail by regularly producing carefully prepared, accurate work.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Manages own time and exercises good commercial judgement to maximise fee earning potential.
  • A team player.
  • Enjoy hard work in a collegiate and sociable environment.
  • Ability to travel throughout northern England.
  • Full driving licence.

ABOUT THE JOB

This is an exciting opportunity to join Allsop’s London based Marketing Team as an apprentice, assisting with the co-ordination of all aspects of marketing and PR. You would be employed full time, in a role that combines 80% practical on the job training and 20% online study over 18 months with the Cambridge Marketing College. You'll be studying towards a Marketing Executive (Level 4) qualification, and you will have a dedicated weekday for your online studies. Once qualified, you will progress within the marketing team to marketing executive and marketing manager level positions and responsibilities.

Working week: Monday to Friday, 09:30am - 5:30pm (total hours per week: 35).
Apprenticeship level: Level 4 (Higher National Certificate)
Office based: Please note this is an office-based position, with potential to work from home one day per week.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Communications
• Uploading press releases to internet and intranet sites
• Sourcing images for blogs

Social Media
• Posting news and updates

Publications & Advertising
• Liaising with designers and printers to produce marketing collateral (brochures, adverts, flyers, etc)
• Co-ordinating amendments/updates from teams across the firm
• Pitches/presentations/property brochures
• Assisting with Power point and pitch presentations for teams

Email Marketing
• Maintaining firmwide email schedule to ensure team emails do not clash
• Prepare and send marketing emails when required

Events
• Assisting the Events Manager with venue sourcing, implementing, attending, reporting on and sharing photos, for all staff & corporate hospitality events and exhibitions

Charity
• Liaise with chosen charity of the year to devise and carry out fundraising plans
• Co-ordinate fundraising for Ad hoc charity days (Comic Relief, Macmillan, Wear it Pink, Xmas jumper day… etc)

Promotional Gifts and Sports kits
• Liaise with suppliers to keep stock of promotional gifts such as umbrellas, mugs, pens, golf balls, notebooks etc.
Liaise with sports teams for requirements for kit, order and distribute.

General
• Arranging photography for staff portraits
• Maintaining stationery stock

ABOUT THE JOB

Our Residential Auction team, based in the West End, is recruiting an office-based assistant to deliver a wide range of activities involved with the preparation, production, and marketing of the online property auction catalogue. 

You must be able to prioritise effectively, work to tight deadlines and operate within a fast paced, upbeat, successful, and sociable team.  You will be playing a key role supporting the continued success of this market leading team.

This role is office based, with potential to work from home one day per week on an ad-hoc basis.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing and promoting our social media channels.
  • Answering and fielding telephone calls.
  • Assisting in sending out marketing emails, and letters.
  • Processing and organising bidders in preparation for the auction. 
  • Assisting on auction days.  
  • Photo uploading and use of photoshop.
  • Assisting with new business initiatives and the preparation of client pitches.
  • Adding information to our Auction Management System.
  • Assisting with general office administration when required

MAIN CAPABILITIES

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who has at least 2-3 years’ work experience in an office environment, good communication (both written and verbal), numerical and organisational skills. You will be a strong team player with a willingness to learn and get stuck in.
