Allsop’s December commercial auction catalogue, now released, comprises 99 lots in total

25 lots guided at £1m or more are to be offered, including lot 14 in Ruislip Manor at £8m+ – the largest lot of the catalogue

The catalogue offers a variety of opportunities, including mixed use, roadside, city-centre retail, and added value assets across a range of lot sizes

Total raised in 2020 stands at £351m, with Allsop having sold 90% of lots offered

Allsop has launched its December commercial auction catalogue comprised of 99 lots ahead of its last online auction of the year, due to take place on 9th December.

The catalogue includes a diverse selection of assets, including mixed-use and added value opportunities, long income and city-centre retail lots alongside roadside, convenience, industrial, and mixed income assets. The variety of properties and income opportunities available reflects a gradual increase in market confidence among investors, enabling buyers to diversify their portfolios in a stabilising yet still uncertain market.

Since the beginning of 2020, Allsop has raised over £351m through its seven commercial auctions, of which six were conducted online.

In addition to a number of mixed-use investment opportunities, the new catalogue includes several attractive city-centre retail assets, such as lot 44 in Nottingham, a freehold long-let shop investment guided at £3.6m and lot 37, a Grade II listed freehold parade of shops in Chester, with a guide price of £4m – £4.5m.

The highest priced lot of the catalogue is lot 14, a mixed-use property in Ruislip comprised of 14 shops, 18 flats and further development potential (currently rented at circa £479,500), with a guide price of £8m+

Other mixed-use opportunities include lot 10 in Birmingham, with nine shops and seven flats, guided at between £2.4m and £2.5m, and lot 12 in Pitsea, with nine shops and 12 flats, guided at between £2m and £2.5m

Lot 30, a dental practice and residential investment in an elegant stucco-fronted building in the heart of South Kensington, let at £110,000 per annum, is guided at £3.5m (3% NIY)
