The Cycle - Allsop's Chosen Charity for 2025

We have launched a firm-wide initiative to raise funds for The Cycle, a charity organisation working to empower women and girls through sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene as well as menstrual education in India.

As part of the campaign, we will seek to raise a minimum of £1,000 per team, with an overall company-wide target of £15,000, having already raised over £6,000.

To reach this ambitious target, we will host a variety of events, challenges and charity sales over the course of the year, with two team members heading to India in February to witness The Cycle’s on-the-ground work in action, visit schools in need of toilet facilities and attend training sessions for local communities with The Cycle team.

With over 25 years’ experience in the field, The Cycle has been fighting for gender equity with its programmes, which involve building eco-toilets in schools and communities and delivering its Happy Periods programmes to the most marginalised communities throughout India. Allsop has been supporting the charity since 2008, with some of its fundraising campaigns generating as much as £35,000. The funds raised from the 2025 campaign will be allocated towards creating school toilet facilities for girls, providing menstrual hygiene training and procuring washable sanitary towels for those in need.

We regularly support charitable initiatives through the Pat Allsop Charitable Trust and other business-wide initiatives and we are a foundation partner of LandAid. To make a donation, visit: Allsop LLP is fundraising for The Cycle
