HELEN’S ROLE

Helen is an Associate in the Commercial Valuation team. She is primarily involved in valuations for loan security purposes, account valuations for funds holding UK assets and purchase reports for property companies, funds and high net worth individuals. Helen is also experienced in undertaking valuations for tax, probate and Charity Act purposes.

RELEVANT EXPERTISE / SPECIALISM

• Helen is involved in all aspects of commercial valuation work undertaken by Allsop, however with particular emphasis on London, the South, the Midlands and South Wales.
• Specialist in the valuation of commercial retail, office, industrial, leisure and mixed use properties, including residential use, being single, multi-let or with vacant possession.
• Strong focus on high street and local neighborhood retail sector having been involved in retail portfolio valuations throughout her career.

EXPERIENCE

Helen has over 30 years experience of professional experience in commercial property. Of these the last 18 years have been within the Valuation team at Allsop.

Prior to joining Allsop, Helen worked for JLW (now JLL) until 1995 and then Hillier Parker (now CBRE) until 2002  where she specialised in the asset management of shopping centres and retail warehouse parks nationwide for a number of Major Funds and Property Companies.

RECENT PROJECTS / ASSIGNMENTS 

• Oversees and undertakes biannual valuations of retail portfolio for Local Shopping REIT, which we have been valuing since 2008.
• Carries out annual portfolio valuations of office, retail, industrial and mixed use premises for Funds and Property Companies across the UK.
• Regional valuations include a large multi let office building in Surbiton, a large single let industrial building in Rainham, three single let office buildings in Cardiff and a retail warehouse park in Norfolk.
• Helen has also undertaken a number of recent valuations in central London including a multi-let retail Parade in New Kings Road together with Marriage Value calculations of the residential flats above together with retail and office buildings in Mayfair, Marylebone and Soho/Noho.
