GERGO’S ROLE

Gergo is a Senior Surveyor in Lease Consultancy and Business Rates Team and provides advice for landlords and tenants on reducing their overall occupational costs.

For Property Owners - Gergo assists landlords in reducing their business rates liabilities during vacancies and refurbishment/development projects.

In addition, Gergo has extensive experience in dealing with lease events to maximise value for landlords at every stage of a lease lifecycle, including rent reviews, lease expiries, re-gears and strategic asset management advice.

Occupiers – Gergo can help tenants review and reduce business rates liabilities by identifying cost-saving opportunities.

HOW CAN WE HELP?

• Refurbishment works – Are you undertaking any works in a building that impacts the occupation of the asset?
• Vacancy – Do you have any vacancy in your building? Is there an upcoming vacancy you know about?
• Lease Expiry – Consider your strategy at least 18 months prior to lease expiry to maximise your opportunity.
• Rent Reviews – Tricky negotiations where interpretation of your lease is paramount to maximise your income or minimise your costs.  An expert with the skills to interpret is paramount.

EXPERIENCE

Gergo began his career at Allsop at the age of 18, straight after school and continues to fly the Allsop flag. To date, Allsop remains Gergo's one and only job.

Gergo has vast transactional experience, having worked in our National Investment team as a commercial agent for 4+ years. He is therefore able to provide with hybrid advice to landlords as to how the above may affect overall value.

• Involved with a number of deletion opportunities for landlords, accruing substantial savings.
• CoStar Award Winner for Q3 2022 deal in Wales, disposing of a Travelodge Hotel in Newport.
• Involved with the disposal of the ‘Harrods of the North’ and other high-profile properties
