Giving something back - it's
fundamental to the Allsop culture
When Pat Allsop died in 1969 and left his estate to the firm his father had founded, his partners decided to establish a charitable trust in his name, the proceeds of which were – and continue to be - used for education and the relief of poverty.
Corporate social responsibility and supporting good causes has, therefore, always been part of the Allsop culture but it’s not just about signing cheques. Whether it’s getting involved in sponsored jumps, bike rides and triathlons or providing auctioneers for fund raising events, we try to help where we can.
Allsop is also a Foundation Partner of LandAid, the property industry’s leading charity, which gives the disadvantaged opportunities to reach their potential. Given the chance there’s nothing some of us like better than a bit of ‘get your hands dirty’ volunteering too.
